There once was a woman who joined the military at 19 years old and thought it would be the hardest chapter in her life…
Motherhood enters the chat…
Hello! My name is Monica and I am a mother of two - my Ladybug and my (bumble) Bee, hence the name. I have eight babies if you count the best dog in the world and the 5 chickens I never wanted but ended up loving. My husband and I are both Navy veterans. We became parents a few years after we both got out of the military. I dealt with major PPA with my first baby and PPD sprinkled with some PPA with my second. In efforts to find something to help me get out of my own head, I decided to make things for my oldest because I would much rather spend $97 worth of crafting supplies and make it myself than to pay someone else $12 for a bow. Made sense to me. In 2016 I started off by making bows, bonnets, and bibs. Eventually my baby outgrew the bonnets and bibs so I wanted to try making things for the house. So, I bought all the things because I’m married to a man who says “You can make that, and much better” anytime I pointed something out at Hobby Lobby. So here I am, crafting away to help with my anxiety and help support my family financially. So, if you’ve gotten this far, I just want to say thank you for your support. Your business means the world to me and my little family.
